Intro

Per i miei 40 anni ho deciso di correre la maratona di Dublino. Da queste parti è consuetudine usare questi eventi per raccogliere della beneficenza. Il mio pensiero è subito corso a mia cugina Chiara. Chiara lavorava nel Centro Aiuto Vita a Verona ed è per loro che io correrò la maratona. Chiara è stata portata via dal cancro a 38 anni ed ha lasciato 2 figli di 11 e 9 anni. Perché io corro CON Chiara? Corro CON Chiara nel rispetto di tutti. Nel rispetto di chi crede nel regno dei cieli, perché in realtà noi non moriamo mai. Nel rispetto di chi crede nel mondo spirituale, perché siamo due mondi dello stesso universo. Nel rispetto di chi crede in una rinascita nella vita materiale, perché nella nuova vita si riprende a correre. Nel rispetto di chi non crede a nulla, perché quando pensi a Chiara, Chiara è con te.

For my 40th Birthday I decided to run the Dublin Maraton and promote charity for the Centro Aiuto Vita. I dedicated this effort to my cousin Chiara. Chiara worked for this centre before being taken by cancer. Chiara was 38 and was survived by her two kids of 11 and 9 yeas old. I run WITH Chiara, because despite what you believe in, Chiara is still WITH us. In the heavens, in the spirit world, in a new life or more simply in our thoughts.

How to donate.

All good during last weekend, with 18.5km on Friday and 12.2km  on Sunday.
I got asked how to donate to the CDAV. There is a link the LINKs box that will send you to the CDAV page were you can find the relevant informations and instructios. But..it is all in Italian.
